Sleeping-patterns.com updates.

16th October 2013

Sleeping Patterns was featured on the Italian Huffington Post. Here is a google translated extract:

"Geometric and floral patterns that fascinate Shield with its fotoprogetto seems to want to explore the beauty even where there appears to be only degradation. A series of shots that try to re-evaluate those objects waiting to be thrown away forever and give new ‘life’ through the publication online."

Have a look here.

This is a photograph of a newsagent holding one of my drawings. It’s part of an on going project with Newcastle based artist Tom Whittle. The project involves posting artworks to one another, where each new work responds to the previous image. The drawings are sent as postcards that pick up the markings of their journey between Glasgow and Newcastle.

More info soon.
